Excellent cinema with three very large and clean rooms. Plenty of seating and an excellent choice of quality films. Easily reachable by public transport, in particular various bus lines such as 90, 336 and others, or on foot from the Conca d'Oro or Jonio metro stops, line B1. Site constantly updated and well done. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended
Cinema in my beloved Montesacro neighborhood...It wasn't possible to buy tickets online so I had to go an hour and a half early...I hope they fix this problem. In room 2 where I was months ago (very unhappy because you have to go down a lot), there was a very strong musty smell which can be annoying. I don't know if they have taken action now. I would like it to be at the Top considering that in Montesacro it is the only cinema within reach of ... women given that more and more women are frequenting the cinemas.
There is a writing on Via Col di Rezia that reads "Support your local cinema", which must inevitably refer to the Antares, which remained closed for a long time in times of Covid and since recently returned available for the inhabitants of Montesacro. In short, there is no lack of will to support in the neighborhood.
However, it is worth asking a question: why are this and all the other cinemas in the Cityplex circuit the only ones in Rome that still do not have tickets purchased online in 2023, and that persist in changing the programming day by day?
Do we want to bring younger people closer to cinema? So what about a minimal effort to keep up with the times?

Convenient "neighborhood" cinema, not too crowded and easy to reach on foot.
The only flaw is that the rooms are cold and you can feel humidity.
Cinema in the Montesacro district, comfortable and welcoming, equipped with n. 2 screening rooms (one large and one small).
I saw a great movie "There's Still Tomorrow"!!
Excellent programming, comfortable seats, unique and irreplaceable movie magic, I will buy a circuit card, great that I can come during the week for €4! W the cinema, beautiful and magical much more than the multiplex
A neighborhood cinema with one of the largest screens in Rome (the one in room 1). And then very comfortable with degrading files that allow excellent vision
It's lucky to have a cinema near your home!
In the suburbs cinemas have become rare but Montesacro has become very lively and the Antares is part of this life.
